To formally state an intention to begin armed hostilities. 

Danes

A native or inhabitant of Denmark.

Danelaw

Laws established by the Danish invaders and settlers in the North of England in the ninth and tenth centuries.

Culture

The behaviour, customs, beliefs, arts, institutions and practices of a body of people.

Cowboy

A man employed to herd, drive and tend cattle. His duties are usually carried out on horseback.

Cow Town

A small town built in a cattle area.

Counter Reformation

The response of the Roman Catholic Church to the Protestant Reformation during the sixteenth century. It was a movement to remove Protestantism and restore Catholicism and the authority of the Pope.
